LOVE WALK !

 Is our version of love based on our feelings? Love can be one of the hardest areas in the Christian walk, if we don't allow " His Love" in us to teach us! Whats Love got to do with it? It's everything in our walk as Christians. Galatians 5:6- Faith which works by Love. 

Love never fails, if we don't have love we gain nothing in this life. Its Christ love in us, that we can love the way he does, we just need to tap into that, believe it, and start exercising it by faith! Love is patient, it is kind, not self-seeking, boastful, proud, rude, easily angered, it does not keep score of how many times you were wronged. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS!

Once I got the revelation that my Faith was useless without this LOVE WALK, I made a quality decision to be obedient. At first it wasn't always easy at times I will admit, it certainly has become easier once you start practicing it, Grace and more Grace! Why would we waste our energy and time praying and believing for things without this LOVE WALK. If we struggle with an issue of love towards someone, the best thing to do is be honest with the Lord. Don't take it to others but deal with it through prayer," but deal with it." I want to use these verses  in the bible to show how Jesus dealt with this particular situation. Matthew 14:1-14

John the Baptist was murdered and behead while in prison, when Jesus got word that this happened he withdrew in a boat to a solitary place. It says in the word that people followed him on foot. When Jesus landed and saw the crowd, COMPASSION AND LOVE were the only force he operated in, after hearing such devastating news about John the Baptist. He used that to defeat what Satan tried to do against the Kingdom of God. Instead of striking out against Herod, he was move with the GOD KIND OF LOVE. He didn't allow his feelings to react and allowed what the word said! Satan couldn't trap Jesus with the sense realm, I'm sure Jesus felt sad emotions! He is a example for us what we can do, and how to deal with things like this. Our adversary is the devil not man! It is not time to curse the darkness, but to praise the LORD, and pray, just as Jesus did in that scripture.

Jesus stepped out with acts of compassion and healed the sick that day, he truly acted with the God kind of Love! 1Corinthians 13 - And now I will show you the more excellent way.

It may sound strange to some but the walk of love is freedom! LOVE is the mother to your FAITH!
Herod was not Jesus enemy, and Jesus knew that. It is for us the same today! The Love walk is freedom from fear, no more fear of what people can do to you. No fear of Satan, no fear of the curse, no more of unjustified fear of God.

Selfishness is the foundation of fear, love is the foundation of faith! If God be for you who can be against you, what can man do to you.

1John 4:17- God is Love . Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement, because in this world we are like him, There is no fear in love . But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.. We love because he first loved us. If anyone  says, I love God, yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he given us this command, Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Love flushes out fear! We just need to keep renewing our mind to this truth, it is freedom!!
