The Spirit of Faith is the Spirit of Victory!

Paul the Apostle knew what it was to have trouble on every side, he writes about it in 2 Corinthians 4:8 . He was hard pressed on every side, perplexed ( unable to understand something clearly or think clearly) He was  persecuted, struck down. Did he just leave it at that when he confessed that, when he wrote about it,? Did he stop there? Have you ever experienced some of these things in life? Or do you do as Paul did and "say with that Spirit of Faith" No, we may be hard pressed on every side, BUT not  crushed; perplexed but not in despair; we may be having some persecution in our lives, BUT, GOD did not abandoned me; Struck down, BUT not destroyed!  You may have experienced some of these things, but its what you believe and say that's the difference! When the devil has given you his best shot, we should do as Paul did, none of these things move me. Paul's Faith was talking, other wise he couldn't have said all these things! 2 Corinthians 4:13- I believed; therefore I have spoken. With the same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.

In Luke 17:5 the disciples asked Jesus to increase there faith! Can we have more faith ? I believe we can, faith comes from hearing and hearing the anointed word of Christ. I believe Jesus wanted them to see that the faith they had right now, as small as a mustard seed was enough. The key was to "say", he said it in that scripture," you can say to this mulberry tree,  be uprooted and planted in  the sea, and it will obey you". The Faith we have right now, that's the faith we start with. We don't need to beg for more faith!

Do I know all there is to faith, have I arrived, certainly not. I never want to get to a place where I "Don't hear it like  you've heard it"! The word does say that we overcome by faith, and if we get out of the arena of faith, where does that put us? It puts us into enemy territory, and he doesn't use the front door either with us. His scheme is to get you out of faith and into reasoning, feeling what it looks like. Look at Paul's confession of faith in that verse!

If we find ourselves getting depressed because our faith hasn't produced certain things yet, we have left the realm of faith and the enemy has you in the realm of reason, don't take your  armor off,  Ephesians 6:10

HEBREWS 11;1- Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. That says a lot doesn't it, if we are to be faith people we must not be drawn to the things we see, feel, and reasoning, we will fail every time. But the grace of GOD will teach us, help us!

What pleases God?" FAITH"and faith is what is not seen, so that means trusting God before the results show up, the same way the hero's of faith  did in this chapter! That's why this chapter "BY FAITH" is written  for our example, they never quit functioning in faith. Don't let the devil  take you out with all kinds of accusations, it starts in your thought life, defeat, depression, get back in the arena of faith. The bible tells us the just shall walk by faith, how do you do that? Not by sight, just believe! Believe when you talk to him he hears you! God is not looking for us to do do do, before we get his attention, its simple faith, belief in Him. Abraham was a man and got Gods attention and was called a friend of God, even before he was circumcised, before the covenant was cut. So that shows old testament, we have a better covenant today, God sees the heart and with heart we believe, so when I shout the victory from my faith believing heart that gets Gods attention and pleases Him! So the Spirit of faith is the Spirit of Victory!

2 Corinthians 2: 14- In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. Because of Christ , we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way to salvation-an aroma redolent with life.

Turn your weaknesses into Power!

I love the 8th chapter in Romans, Paul address so much in this chapter about a supernatural weapon we have! This is" life in the Spirit", an ability to live above our circumstances that come against us, and conquer anything!Praying in the Spirit is a supernatural weapon, by that I mean praying in tongues, this is were our weakness are turned into power! How many believers know this or practice this? I have experienced first hand and seen the results. I know at times I have to be more diligent at it, why, because I know without a doubt the results I have had in my life!

Have you ever been praying about a situation and you have a prayer list inside you that you are going to take to God, then you run out of words? I know I have experienced that on many occasions, discouragement try's to come in, frustration maybe! BUT, if you let the Spirit pray, and go into tongues then that's where we can transform into another person." I don't mean anything spooky," but its in that prayer language  of the SPIRIT PRAYING, we find strength. Romans 8:26- Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. MSG 

Before this happen's we must be willing to ASK FOR HELP!  That's why at the end of that verse ALL THINGS CAN BE WORKED FOR OUR GOOD!  That's why it says the Spirit helps us in our INFIRMITIES, ( shortcomings, weaknesses). The supernatural takes place, the Spirit lifts you up and leaves the problem behind. I have experienced it where the circumstance seemed so big, it was trying to take me down, I mean mentally the pressure was great. I knew what to do and I went into praying in the Spirit, and it broke, Peace came! God has given us a sound mind, he has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and power and sound mind, not a double mind!  A double minded man is unstable in ALL IN WAYS! James 1:8

Read all of Romans 8, its a life chapter for us as believers. You could be on the bottom- but knowing this your weaknesses become His Ability! If you are not a person who speaks in this prayer language, then I strongly encourage you to ask God about it, search the scriptures and even ask someone who speaks in this prayer language as well, who better to ask than someone who has experienced it themselves. Jude 20- But you , dear friends , build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 1Corinthians 14:4-  He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself.

Your life will change and go deeper in Him!!

Where Are You?

These words jumped out to me this morning reading Genesis 3:9- The Lord God called to the man "Where are you"? You may have never noticed those words or even given them attention! There is a reason why he asked Adam and Eve that question, and why Adam said I heard you but I was afraid because I was naked, so  I hid!  God said who told you, you were naked ? Interesting dialog between God and Adam, is it any different today? I would say No, God still wants to be a part of our lives and ask you or I " Where are you"? "Our nakedness" can be even today,  a result of us going our own way in life, listening to the lies of the devil, saying just like he did to Adam and Eve. " Did God really say"! What does Satan attack first? Its the word in our lives, he came to steal, kill, destroy, Mark 4 parable of the sower!

They were always having fellowship in The Garden, until they disobeyed God and ate of the tree and there eyes were opened, knowing good and evil! It was then the source of fear began and they wanted to hide from God. I believe God knew where they were,  I see it as God  wanting them to confess, and to show them the result of the one  who had planted these lies in their heads! Its no different when we correct our children and want to show them the right way! They disobeyed a direct command of His, not to eat of this one tree! He was protecting them, from things so far above our knowing. Sometimes we are just to obey and trust Him, knowing he has the perfect plan for us, and when we start testing the waters we can get in deeper than we thought and stay longer than we planned!

I truly love that about God always looking out for us, even right in the beginning, listen to this scripture that shows how he did just that and saved us from living in that state forever! Genesis 3: 22 And the Lord God said " The Man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and LIVE FOREVER, So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. God did us a favor, taking  Adam out of the Garden, because we would of been bound to live forever in fallen state! God's plan for mankind was not over, His love for us never ends and we see from scripture He sent his one and only Son to pay the price for our sins, to be restored to Him forever!

So if for any reason you have fallen short in any way, don't hide from God and have Him say to you, " Where are You"? Its been taken care of by his SON JESUS, the BLOOD  he shed on that cross was for you and me. We are no longer under the curse of the worlds ways! When we come to Jesus, believe and confess "Jesus as Lord", and walk with him,its then we  can come boldly into His throne room of grace! Hebrews 4:16 - Let us then approach Gods throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

He loves you!

If you don't hear it, how can you have faith for it!

This is the start of the new year, I am believing God for bigger, why, because the word says faith comes from hearing and hearing the word of God.Romans 10:17 ! I am endeavoring to put the word of God before me, in my ears in my mouth and believe God for bigger in Him.

I started the New year off in the morning listening to the word, and looking at scripture. In doing this something was impressed in my Spirit to write something about Cain and Abel. It was something written in Genesis 4. The story of these 2 brothers written here are still talked about today. I saw something for today, something we could all identify with. These brothers both grew up knowing about God, learning about God in the same household. They both knew to bring offerings to God, it says it right there in scripture, but that's where the difference happened and what occurred that changed the course of one of their lives, Cain!

They both heard things growing up in there household, they both knew to bring offerings to God, but only one brought it forth with FAITH, Abel. They both had different professions, one worked the ground like a farmer, and the other had flocks, sheep, I suppose.They were both successful in today's standards. The difference was their HEART!

Cain brought something to God in the course of time, Abel brought something from the first of his flock, The scripture says God looked with favor on Abel's offering and on Cain not so much. Now we could read that in many ways,and say what's the big deal? It is a big deal, its the heart attitude and where God comes into our life, that matters! Abel's offering meant something to him, it was by faith with the heart. Its even in Hebrews 11;4 about Abel's offering that he gave it by faith, new testament so its for us today as much as then. The story goes on to say that Cain knew what Abel did, and there was a attitude that surfaced. It was anger, have you ever compared yourself to someone else at what you knew they did or gave, and got angry? God is not into the amount you give or how many hours you put in at your church helping. If you remember the widows offering how Jesus saw how much she put in the offering he made reference to it. It really is what does God mean to you? Is he worth the first fruit of your day, in praise, the first amount of your pay check, the first thought you give when you get out of bed, or to say Father what should I do in this situation? It matters, it mattered then with Cain and Abel and it still does for us today. I will conclude with why!


God asked Cain why he was angry, why his face was so downcast, in other words God was trying to give Cain the opportunity to look and examine his heart and have it adjusted. It is no different today, God always gives us an opportunity to repent and go in a different direction. Thats what he did with Cain!, God warned Cain what was crouching at his door, "sin"! He told him sin desires to have you, and master you,  If Cain had of listened to God it could of gone in a different direction for him. He let anger get the better of him and that is based in fear, so many lies stem from fear and where it can lead you."it will master you if you don't deal with it". He went and murdered his brother in the end!  Give no place to the devil and his lies!

 Abel loved God , it was expressed with affections of love to God in his life by faith. We have the same choices as these 2 brothers to serve and love God  with our whole heart, Happy New Year, it can be a year of increase for you, if you choose to trust God!

Taking Territory in your life!

We serve the same God today as the Old Testament, the same God that performed all those miracles and delivered them from so many things! He is the same yesterday, today and forever the bible says. So if you need to take territory in your life and see something shift, than know that God will and  can do for you!

Esther a slave Jew, and God raised her to be Queen, that's the Favor of God! 

Ruth, God put her in the right field after she lost everything. She got married to the richest man, Boaz.

Danial was placed in the lions Den, but God's hand was on him, the lion couldn't touch him!

The 3 Hebrew boys were put in the fiery furnace- BUT there was a fourth man in their with them, JESUS, the fire didn't touch them. 

Three million people led by one man, Moses, he was"hearing from God", use the rod in your hand and split the Sea. Then instantly the Sea split and they went through on dry ground to the other side.

David standing before Goliath the giant, unafraid he knew his God was with him, and he cut off that giants head.

Peter locked up in jail and an angel unlocked his cuffs and walked him right out of that jail! 

Paul and Silas locked in jail, singing and praising God, and at midnight an earthquake hit and shook the foundations and they walked right out.

The flood came and one man and his whole family where saved in the Ark, they rode on top of the water, on top of trouble, because he listened to God! 

The Disciples were in the ship with a hurricane storm, BUT Jesus was with them and knew how to handle the situation, WIND BE STILL, PEACE!

Joshua, the wall was blocking him from his blessing- BUT GOD, gave him instructions to march around that wall 7 times, and SHOUT. The WALL came down! 

These are just a few of the miracles I have written here!

We serve the same God today! Take the territory back that the enemy want's to steal from you and believe God is with you to give you miracles like this. There is nothing to big for our God, when we are weak he is made strong in our lives. We have to realize we can't do it without our precious Lord and God Jesus Christ. HE LOVES YOU!

Are you experiencing a delay?

Many years ago their use to be a option with certain stores where you could put something on lay away, and make payments on it for a certain time until you paid it off. I remember doing it myself, you couldn't have the thing until you paid it off. It was a nice feeling when you went with that last payment and picked up your new outfit that you were dreaming about. You were diligent about making those payment, making sure that that outfit was going to be yours soon. There was a delay for a certain time, because you needed to PAY IN FULL, before you picked it up!

I used that metaphor to show that as Born again believers of God, we don't need to operate that way for all His promises! We don't need to put things on lay away with God, because He already PAID FOR IT, IN FULL, AT THE CROSS! 

God is not in the business of not showing up, if their is a delay its to get you through the traffic so you can enjoy the manifestation of it! Sometimes the delay is to get you more understanding, more insight into His word. If it came to soon Satan would steal if from you. Isaiah 40:31-But those who wait for the Lord , who expect, look for, and hope in Him, shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up ,( close to God) as eagles ( mount up to the sun) ; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

You may not have everything you have been asking the Lord for right now. It may not of manifested in the natural, but you do have what you need, other wise you wouldn't be here right now. Believe that verse their and trust Him.Guard your heart, don't answer the door to unbelief and doubt. Learn to answer the door with the word of God. The thief wants to break in and steal from you, If you handle it properly by trusting and waiting on the Lord you are headed for double!

God is not cheap and God is not broke, so don't settle for lay away's ! Believe for all the promises, and that they are PAID IN FULL! So whatever your desire is believe God has the best for you, seek Him with all your heart and praise Him in all things! When your connected with your heart and mouth to God, waiting on Him wont seem long and boring, Psalm 19; May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my hear be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

This gospel of hope we have is in us as believers, hold to that hope because your faith needs something to to work with. Faith and hope go together, faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Your faith will take you in the future and get what you need in the present and bring it there. Faith is going to hold you there until it arrives! Faith is advanced knowledge! 

Seek Him with all your heart! Its your meditation on Him and His word, with all your heart, mind and your confession to declare it will come, then the delay won't matter!

Take back your thought life!

That may sound like a strange title to my blog, but believe it or not many Christians struggle with wrong thoughts. Your Soul consists of your emotions / feelings/ reason/ intellect / memory /imagination. 1 John :2 - Dear friend, I pray that your may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as you soul is getting along well. Most of the time when a Christian is struggling with carnal things its not bad behavior, its wrong thinking! God wants us to have success in every area of our life. We are 3 part being spirit, soul, body, when we get  born again in our spirit, it is now perfect, its the soul that needs transformation and that's where this verse is powerful, Romans 12:- Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. 

Transformation thinking can change anything, transformation word thinking, so it allows you to take back your thought life to where God intended it to be. If there was a past failure in your life that caused you to fail over and over again, then put the word of God on it. Take the word of God find scriptures in there on all the promises that tell you who you are in HIM. Abide in Him, stay connected to Him, manifestation cannot come with out the proper connection. Don't let the word just lay around you, take it in. Get Your heart right, get all the junk out and let the word take center stage. 

The word becomes life to those who find it," your everyday affairs" are handled now with the word of God.Renewing your mind will shut the gate on Satan! The reason Satan wants to control your thought life is, if he can control your decisions, then he can control your actions, which will lead him to control your habits, and then he has your character, and now he controls, and wants to destroy your destiny. Your behavior went off because your thought life went off, the word. The word is a mirror for us, and as long as we look into this mirror our true identity will be their! 

A lot of churches for many years were focused on on actions and behavior, always preaching on repentance, which we do need for sure, but after the repentance how do you NOT go back to your old ways? Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is living and active , Sharper than any double -edge sword, it penetrates even to dividing the soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Powerful verse, this is the connection that must happen the word goes into these areas and changes you, BUT, you must stay long enough for it to change you, its not a one time thing. Once you you abide there and marinate in it,change starts to take place in your thinking. Now your mind is not rejecting this truth, its being transformed just as the word says in Romans. 

So when those old thoughts come back to you, and Satan tells you your not going to make it, or telling you to go back to your old ways, you now will know what to do. Take it captive with the word of God, you cant always control what thought comes into your mind, BUT, you can control how far that thought makes progress, in your mind and life. STOP all thoughts at the gate, handcuff them first, and make sure they are lining up with who God says you are in Him. 

The mind is the only access point in which Satan can attack and gain entrance. He cant touch our spirit or body as Christians. So if we make the word first priority, attend to his sayings and words and meditate on them, get them into our heart, then our thinking is right, now we can speak with authority! We can tell Satan no, I'm no longer that old person, I don't think that way any longer. My life is in Christ now and now my dreams are big because my thinking is right.

" TAKE BACK YOUR THOUGHT LIFE, TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT"
