We hear a lot about faith, faith to do this, or believe for this, but do you know that HOPE is a partner to FAITH? This is a powerful team together, and it must work together, to get right results!
This is a Powerful scripture , Its saying, this God who is our Hope( expectation), our source, may He give you Joy, and Peace in the midst of tribulation that comes our way ! This is not HOPE as the world sees it, or its not a natural Hope, " wishful thinking" its supernatural Hope, biblical HOPE!
Faith can't work alone, Hope must be their as well to not give up! Their have been many faith people who have been shipwrecked because Hope wasn't their along side them.We must be abounding in Hope, keep it alive. It is flowing in the future, knowing you will see it, while your in the present, supernatural hope !
While we are waiting on our God of hope in the midst of trails, we can be filled with Joy and Peace. Many times some loose faith and give up in the wait. Its because we don't know how to wait. HOPE is our anchor to hold onto FAITH, to receive our manifested answers!
Faith is invisible, So Hope holds your hand in the process. We must let hope do its work and not allow discouragement, keep hope alive, or faith will die. HOPE cause you to see it! HOPE, Biblical hope, is a confidence from God about future issues , its a sure word form God!
1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
1Jn 5:15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
So when all the questions the devil throws your way like, how long has this sickness, disease been staying on your body, how long have you been giving and still no breakthrough. That's when you should lie down in the supernatural Hope and say my GOD is not a GOD that should lie, He will come through! HOPE keeps the answer in our vision alive!
HOPE helps your FAITH locate where its going! Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Look at Abraham and Sarah lives, Abraham can't produce children, he is now old, way past the time of one wanting even to think about children. Then theirs Sarah she was always barren, and now old !
This is a wonderful story of them of HOPE, LOVE AND GODS GRACE. The word says that against all HOPE, Abraham in hope believed what God said would happen. So in essence Abraham believed against natural Hope, and believed in Biblical Hope that He would become the father of many nations, like us today!! His faith rode piggy back on Hope, your not going to be fully persuaded just on faith- no its Hope that will carry you to the end, biblical hope!
Rom 4:18 In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, "So shall your offspring be."
Rom 4:19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb.
God gives us Joy and Peace while your waiting. Faith and Hope are a team, hope removes disappointment, its knowing that Hope works in Gods timing. So keep Hope alive or faith will die, Hope in our God, our faithful God will bring it to pass!
